JOURNEY OF ICAI BHAWAN- NASHIK

1.  Raising of Funds for acquisition of plot of land for ICAI Bhawan on the occasion of 7th Sub-Regional Conference in Feb 2002 (Branch Chairman CA.B.G.Kale and Conference Co-coordinator CA.Ramesh Jajoo).

2. Purchase of Plot No.4 for Rs.21.06 lakhs in 2004-05 and Bhumi Pujan of ICAI Bhawan (Branch Chairman CA.O.K.Somani)

3. Approval of Building Plan of ICAI Bhawan-2008 and Floating of Civil Work Tender & Selection the Civil Work Contractor for ICAI Bhawan-2008 (Branch Chairman CA.Shrikant Jajoo)

 2009-10
 1. The Construction work started on 12th May 2009 in the presence of President ICAI CA.Uttam Agrawal.

2. The grant of Rs.1 Crores for civil works of ICAI Bhawan was declared by President ICAI CA.Uttam Agrawal -12 May 2009.

3. The grant of Rs.1.15 Crores for purchase of adjacent plot of land No.5 was declared by President ICAI CA.Uttam Agrawal and the plot was purchased for Rs.1.38 Crores  in 21st  October -2009.

4. CIVIL WORK PROGRESS STATUS OF ICAI BHAWAN:

5. Donation for naming facility for Publication Sale Center declared by wife of CA.R.R.Gujrathi Rs.5 lakhs (January 2010)

6. Donation for naming facility for ITT Training Room declared by CA.Sharad Shah & CA.Vijay Sabadra Rs.9 lakhs. -(January 2010)

7. Donation for naming facility for Reading Room declared by CA.Patil Hiran Jajoo Rs.5 lakhs (January 2010)

2010-11
1. Water proofing work of terrace completed. Fixing China-Mosaic broken tiles and water proof testing. Fabricated staircase installation for overhead water tank. (April, May 2010)

2. Mirror Polish to Parking at Ground Floor, Flooring Tile fixing works of 2nd floor i.e. Classroom, ITT room on 2nd Floor,  Civil works of  Gents /ladies toilets on 2nd floor,  Lift Room civil work at top floor completed. (April to July 2010)

3. Installation of vertical fins on the windows of 2nd floor/classroom. This has added to the beauty of elevation of premises and provided added security as well as reduced the heat of direct sunlight. (July 2010)

4. Appointment of Acoustical Consultant for Auditorium Mr.Anil Navangul from Baroda. (July 2010)

5. Donation declaration by Mr.Anil Jain Rs.151,000 and Mr.Anand Daga Rs.101000 (July 2010)

6. Release of 50 lakhs grant for interior of ICAI Bhawan Nashik (after continuous follow-up with Head Office & President. Proposal was send for 1 Cr but only 50 lakhs sanctioned. The proposal was sent to Infrastructure Committee in March 2010 thereafter the Project report was send in May 2010 and after continuous follow-up the grant was received on 20 August, 2010. (March to August 2010)

7. Selection of Lift Vendor & Lift order given. Lift installation started, lift door installed. (July & August 2010)

8. Fabricated gate to terrace entry on 2nd floor and fabricated gate to the south side entry to the premises, fabricated gate to the compound walls. Stair Case for - Lift room. Door frame for Classroom at 2nd Floor, Rain water pipes concealed.  (August 2010)

9. Appointment of Interior Decorator/Consultants for Interior and furniture works of ICAI Bhawan Mr.Sagar Kabre, Architects. (August 2010)

10. Approval of Revised plan of Building and Amalgamation of Plot No.4 & 5 after a rigors follow-up for 3 and half months from Municipal Authorities. (August 2010)

11. Foundation for Genset (Generator Set), Installation of 100 KVA Electrical Transformer. (September 2010)

12. Installation of fabricated frame on front side of building for installation of glazing tiles. Installation of fabricated railings on the Terrace.  (September 2010)

13. Donation for naming facility for Waiting Room declared by CA.Rajaram Jadhav   Rs.3.31 lakhs- (September 2010)

14. Panel Room Construction Completed and door installed, Compound Wall construction completed, plastering work done. Compound gate with grill to compound wall),  Main entrance steps extension finishing work. (September- October 2010)

15. External Coloring works of ICAI Bhawan (September –October 2010)

16. Appointment of HVAC Consultants (i.e. Air-conditioning consultants) Mr. Karmakar from Aurangabad. (November 2010)

17. Got the AC work drawing and equipment selection. Ductable AC at Auditorium, Cassette AC at ITT and GMCS classroom and Split AC at Restroom and Office area. (November 2010)

18. Interior drawing preparation & number of round for finalization of interior drawings.  Specification of acoustical treatment of auditorium with help Acoustical Consultants. 
(October -2010 to February 2011)

19. Floating the Air Conditioning Tender and Selection of Air Conditioning Contractor M/s.Garwa, Nashik. (January & February 2011)

20. Getting the Commercial NA approval of Plot no. 4 & 5 from revenue department after meticulous follow-up of 6 months ( August 2010 to February 2011).  CA. Nirav Pajwani was instrumental in getting this. (February 2011)

21. Finalization of interior layout and drawings, approval of the same by building committee. (March & April 2011)

22. Paver block on the land apparatus to the premises. Soling, PCC work on the south side apparatus land to the premises and installation of Shahabad Farshi to said portion. (March 2010)

23. Donation collection from 1st April, 2010 to 31st March, 2011 Rs.9.27 lakhs


2011-12
1. Getting the Completion Certificate from Municipal authorities. CA.Sanjeev Mutha & CA.S.N.Kulkarni was instrumental in getting this. (February to May 2011)

2. Floating the Interior Work Tender and Selection of Interior works contractor Mr. P.V.Kale. ( April & May 2011)

3. The purchase and installation of laminated acoustical windows for auditorium. - (July 2011)

4. Preparation of proposal for grant for interior works of ICAI Bhawan in February, 2011, preparation of detailed proposal on further requirement from Head Office in July, 2011 (with entire agreement/quotation for individual item in proposal) and consistent follow-up with President, Vice President and  Mr.Pradhan, Mr.Ghose for release the grant. (Feb to August 2011)

5. The grant of Rs.1.30 Crores approved by Head Office for interior works of ICAI Bhawan and actual receipt of grant of Rs.1.10 Crores by HO. (August 2011).

6. Preparation of proposal for ITT Lab expansion in May 2011, preparation of detailed proposal on further requirement from Head Office in July, 2011 and consistent follow-up with Ms. Indu Arora for approval. The fund utilization approved of Rs.11 lakhs for expansion of ITT center and 21 computers from HO. (August 2011)

7.Donation for naming facility for Lift Lobby declared by CA.Suresh Mene Rs.5.51 lakhs (July 2011)

8. Grid Ceiling & POP work of 5 classroom & Lobby at 2nd Floor. Installation of Glazing tiles at the front side of Building.  (July-2011)

9. Donation collection from 1st April, 2011 to 31st August 2011 Rs.10.50 lakhs

10. Internal Coloring works of ICAI Bhawan.- (August 2011)
